2. Log in / Create an account and enter account holder information

From the Abstract submission page, click "Log in / Create a new account."
Depending on the status of your account, one of the following actions is required:

- For A-Pass account holder (How to Log in)
If you had attended some conferences that use this A-Pass system such as SSDM or JSAP meeting, you can use the same ID and password. (For those who have submitted your abstract, please log in to your page.) There is no need to create a new account. Enter your ID and password in the log in field and click "Log in".

- For those without an account (How to create a new account)
If you do not have an A-Pass, click "Create a new account" and enter your email address and password.
After clicking "Next (send authentication code)", you will receive an auto-reply email with your account registration code.
Enter the code on the screen and click "Create account". You can log in your new account with your ID (email address) and password.

3. Enter or choose the information on your abstract

The following information must be selected or entered before uploading your abstract:

  • All authors' names and their affiliations
  • Topic of your abstract
  • Preferred type of presentation (oral or poster)
  • Title of your abstract

The Topic refers to the broad category used to review and classify your abstract into the appropriate technical sessions at the conference. Please select the topic that best matches the subject of your work from the categories defined in the Scope of the conference (https://icscrm2026.org/scope/).
For the purpose of submission, each Topic is subdivided into more detailed Tracks, as listed below. Please choose the Track that most accurately reflects the technical focus of your abstract.

Tracks for Submission

Track 01: Bulk Growth and Wafer Processing
Track 02: Epitaxial and Thin-Film Growth
Track 03: Extended Defects
Track 04: Point Defects and Material Properties
Track 05: MOS Gate Stack Processing and Characterization
Track 06: Implantation, Contacts, Etching, and Other Processes
Track 07: Power Devices
Track 08: RF, High-Temp., and Rad-Hard Devices and ICs
Track 09: Device and Module Reliability, Packaging, and Applications
Track 10: Quantum Applications and Sensors

The relationship between Topics (broad categories in the conference scope) and Tracks (submission categories) is as follows:

  • Topics: Material and Growth → Tracks 01 & 02
  • Topics: Defects and Characterization → Tracks 03 & 04
  • Topics: Device Process and Characterization → Tracks 05 & 06
  • Topics: Device Physics, Design, and Characterization → Tracks 07 & 08

4. Submit Abstract

Specify track to which the abstract should be submitted. In principle, your abstract will be reviewed in the submitted track. Depending on the content, however, your abstract might be assigned to a different track at the decision of the Technical Program Committee.
Enter your submission information and upload a PDF file of your abstract.
If you wish to revise your abstract, you need to re-upload a new abstract file using your account. The final deadline to submit abstracts is May 11, 2026, 23:59 (JST=UTC+9).
Each time you submit an abstract or change submission information, you will receive an auto-reply email from noreply.confitatlas.jp.

5. Abstract review and selection process

All submitted abstracts will go through a peer-review process carried out by the Technical Program Committee (TPC) of ICSCRM 2026. The TPC makes the final selection of abstracts to be included in the conference program. Abstracts can be selected for oral presentation or for presentation as a poster. A small number of high-scoring abstracts will be selected for invited presentations in both oral and poster sessions.

6. Notification of acceptance or rejection to the corresponding author

Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to the corresponding (submitting) author on July 6, 2026 (JST=UTC+9). Please note that only the corresponding (submitting) author will receive email concerning the abstract and this author is responsible for informing all co-authors of the status of the abstract. Authors whose abstracts have been accepted will receive instructions for the presentation of their abstracts. In order to receive these important communications, please ensure that emails from noreply.confitatlas.jp are not labeled as spam by your email provider.

7. Publication of accepted abstracts

Your abstract, if accepted, will appear in its full form in the electronic version of the Technical Digest, which will be distributed with a printed short program booklet to all registered participants of ICSCRM 2026 at the conference venue.
Accepted abstracts will be availavle from September 27,2026.

8. Late news abstracts

A small number of late news abstracts will be accepted for oral presentation or for presentation as posters at the conference. The percentage of abstracts selected for late news presentations will depend on the number of submissions, but selection will certainly be more rigorous than for regular abstracts. Therefore, if at all possible, abstracts should be submitted by the regular deadline, and the late news submission should be reserved for data that is indeed not available before May 11, 2026 (JST=UTC+9). The same submission rules apply for the late news abstracts as for the regular abstracts, but each presenting author may only submit one late news abstract.

The late news abstract submission will be open from July 17 to August 17, 2026, and the notification of acceptance or rejection for late news abstracts will be sent to the corresponding (submitting) authors on August 31, 2026 (JST=UTC+9).

For technical questions regarding the abstract submission system, please contact Abstract Submission Support at submissionicscrm2026.org.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Both oral and poster presentations should be delivered by the first author.
A presentation by a co-author can be considered only under unavoidable circumstances.
In that case, please inform the program committee (submissionicscrm2026.org) of the situation and the final decision will be made by the program chair.
  • All submissions, changes and corrections, or cancellations should be made on the electronic submission system. No submission via email will be accepted.
  • Accepted abstracts will become available at the first day of the conference on this website.
